We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to join our team at InnovaCare Health. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary patient care and working closely with our Practice Administrator and Case Manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical treatment to patients
- Chart all patient interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Work closely with Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Communicate and work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high-quality medical treatment and client services
- Comply with ethical, legal, and professional guidelines
- Comply with applicable regulations and with corporate policies and procedures to stay in compliance
- Comply with quality assurance for all medical issues and assist in the solution of any medical problems
- Contribute solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems
- Protect clinic assets and property against loss or waste through negligence or dishonesty
- Participate in implementing special medical projects and services, such as on-site services
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from a U.S. accredited institution or equivalent licensing required to comply with practice medicine in the U.S. in the instance of foreign graduate training
- Previous experience in General Practice preferred
- EMR experience, Bilingual, Computer Literate
- Current license to practice medicine in the State
- Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment
- Knowledge of organizational and medical policies, regulations, and procedures
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe medical environment
- Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence
- Skill in developing and maintaining medical quality assurance and quality control standards
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, medical staff, and the general public
- Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and clients
- Good telephone manners and etiquette
- Strong organizational skills; orientation to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and work effectively with others
- Required immunizations and vaccinations
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery
- Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
- Occasionally requires exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
- Ability to discriminate shades of color when reading a dipstick
