We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at InnovaCare Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our practice administrator and case manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical treatment to patients and chart all patient interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with medical assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Communicate and collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high-quality medical treatment and client services.
- Comply with ethical, legal, and professional guidelines, as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
- Participate in implementing special medical projects and services, such as on-site services, and contribute solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from a U.S. accredited institution or equivalent licensing required to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Previous experience in General Practice preferred, with EMR experience, bilingual skills, and computer literacy.
- Current license to practice medicine in the State.
- Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment, organizational and medical policies, regulations, and procedures, medical equipment and instruments, and common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe medical environment.
- Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence, as well as establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, medical staff, and the general public.
- Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations, communicate clearly with patients, staff, and clients, and possess good telephone manners and etiquette.
- Required immunizations and vaccinations.
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds, push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force, stand or sit for extended periods of time, use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery, and properly drive and operate a company vehicle.
