Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Research Psychiatric Center. As a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care to adolescents and adults with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
- Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives, and interventions.
- Provide education and emotional support, appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance, and incorporate patient/family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of practice RN licensure required within 90 days of Graduation OR Active License.
- Basic computer skills.
