Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing and reporting test results, as well as providing technical and scientific oversight in the absence of the laboratory manager.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a college degree, MT CLS state licensure, and ASCP certification preferred. With at least 3 years of prior laboratory experience and knowledge, you will be well-equipped to handle the demands of this role.
Responsibilities- Perform and report test results that require a conclusion, evaluation, or value judgment
- Conduct quality control, quality assurance, equipment operation, and maintenance
- Manage specimens and perform associated clerical functions
- Provide technical and scientific oversight in the absence of the laboratory manager
- College degree
- MT CLS state licensure
- ASCP certification preferred
- At least 3 years of prior laboratory experience and knowledge
