Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. This is a full-time and permanent position available in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and reporting test results, as well as performing related quality control, quality assurance, equipment operation and maintenance, and associated clerical functions. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, MT CLS state licensure, and ASCP certification preferred. Prior laboratory experience and knowledge, at least 3 years, is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and report test results that may require a conclusion, evaluation or value judgment
  • Perform related quality control, quality assurance, equipment operation and maintenance, and associated clerical functions
  • Manage specimens and oversee laboratory operations in the absence of the laboratory manager and/or technical supervisor
