Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with hospice and palliative care philosophies.
- Facilitate training sessions for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing personnel to promote professional growth.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospice care is required.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in skilled nursing with increasing responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with a deep understanding of hospice and palliative care principles.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
- Valid driver's license and auto liability coverage.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is mandatory; a Master's in Nurse Education is preferred.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
- Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
