Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall commercial status of projects, ensuring accurate and timely cost reporting.
  • Own and manage the change process, negotiating change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project coordination.
  • Extract data from complex spreadsheets, transforming it to aid project and portfolio management.
  • Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Manage cost impact and contingency management, tracking commitments and preparing funding data presentations.
  • Lead cost management teams on medium to large-sized construction projects, ensuring effective cost control and commercial management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction cost management, with a strong understanding of industry legal and technical matters.
  • College and/or post-graduate degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • Hybrid in-office and on-site working is required.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor team members.
