EHS Compliance Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking an EHS Compliance Specialist to support our EHS Team in various health, safety, and environmental programs. The successful candidate will ensure the highest possible degree of safety for employees and the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support EHS on corporate EHS projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Track and respond to assigned employees in the company EHS information system, KPA.
  • Input data to client pre-qualification EHS portals - ISNetworld and PEC.
  • Communicate with EHS management on safety and risk vendors and customer inquiries.
  • Assist in drafting and communicating EHS correspondence in support of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Participate in EHS department meetings as needed.
  • Assist with confidential safety-related employee files, including workers' compensation injury files and medical reports.
  • Work closely with the company insurance broker for obtaining certificates of insurance required by Axis customers.
  • Assist with completing customer-specific health and safety questionnaires.
  • Assign customer-required online training for field crew members working on customer locations.
  • Attend weekly EHS conference calls and take minutes to upload and distribute company-wide within KPA.
  • Distribute and track random monthly drug and alcohol testing.
