Key Responsibilities:- Sort and categorize paint based on quality and color.
- Open and consolidate paint containers for further processing, ensuring proper disposal of packaging materials.
- Assist during collection events by gathering, sorting, and packaging paint materials and containers.
- Support the maintenance and cleanliness of the workspace and facility.
- Help with the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications:
- Dependability and consistency are essential traits.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Capability to distinguish between different colors for recycling processes.
- Experience operating manual material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and wheeled carts, safely.
- Willingness to work during non-business hours for collection events when necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Strong commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to operate equipment for loading and unloading heavy pallets.
- Physical capability to lift items weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Forklift certification is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Experience driving a 26-foot box truck is a plus.
GreenSheen Paint offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, healthcare benefits, 401K, flexible working hours, vacation, and sick leave. Salary will be determined based on experience.
