We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. As a key member of our Air and Missile Defense Software Department, you will play a critical role in developing software for new system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and understand software requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
- Develop clear and concise test objectives that guide the testing process and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Create innovative and effective test cases, both manual and automated, based on test objectives.
- Conduct thorough testing of new and modified software in our on-site lab environment.
- Analyze test results in relation to specified requirements and clearly document any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other test engineers and developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software products.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Software Engineering, Validation, Verification, Requirements Analysis, and/or Testing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Prior experience within Patriot software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Raytheon software development process is also helpful.
