Job Title: MRI Technologist

ProMedica Flower Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and radiology information systems to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment and radiology information systems to produce high-quality images
  • Select proper technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight, and anatomical differences
  • Utilize proper MRI safety, parameters, and age-appropriate immobilizers
  • Process digital images and critique them for diagnostic quality
  • Administer and document contrast and IV contrast according to standards for patients of all ages
  • Assist radiologists and physicians in the performance of diagnostic MRI procedures
  • Maintain departmental equipment and facilities in a safe and clean condition
Requirements:
  • High school graduate
  • Formal radiologic technology training at an AMA-approved school
  • ARRT registry requirements or RDNSM or BNTCB registry requirements and active state license or registration eligibility
  • Minimum of one year MRI experience preferred
  • Ability to cope with stressful situations and handle deadlines in a demanding medical environment
