About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at ProMedica Flower Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and radiology information systems to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize MRI equipment and radiology information systems to select proper technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight, and anatomical differences.
  • Produce high-quality MRI scans under the philosophy of A.C.R. and critique images for diagnostic quality.
  • Administer and document contrast and IV contrast according to standards for patients of all ages.
  • Provide information in easily understood terminology with clear communication style about procedures and care to patients of various ages.
  • Assist radiologists and physicians in the performance of diagnostic MRI procedures with patients of all ages.
  • Maintain departmental equipment and facilities in a safe and clean condition.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and maintain confidentiality of all patient data.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with formal radiologic technology training at an AMA-approved school.
  • Met ARRT registry requirements or RDNSM or BNTCB registry requirements and hold an active state license or be registered and state licensure eligible.
  • Minimum of one year MRI experience preferred or other appropriate training.
  • Ability to cope with stressful situations and handle deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced medical environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to understand directions, communicate, and respond to inquiries.
