We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the State of Minnesota. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing quality care to individuals with mental and physical health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients in developing optimal independence in living and completing Activities of Daily Living as needed.
- Complete assigned unit tasks and monitor, report, and document interactions with clients.
- Collect and report data about physical and mental health needs of clients and respond appropriately.
- Assist in planning and implementation of nursing plans of care and multi-disciplinary plans of care.
- Respond immediately and appropriately to emergency situations to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
- Current licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.
- Preferred candidates will have experience working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
We provide competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive hourly wage, affordable insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and more. Additionally, you may be eligible for a $2,500 hiring bonus, annual pay increases, corrections early retirement program, tuition reimbursement, student loan reimbursement, and a $50 bonus for voluntarily working days off and weekends.
