Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the State of Minnesota. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing quality care to individuals with mental and physical health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients in developing optimal independence in living and completing Activities of Daily Living as needed.
  • Complete assigned unit tasks and monitor, report, and document interactions with clients.
  • Collect and report data about physical and mental health needs of clients and respond appropriately.
  • Assist in planning and implementation of nursing plans of care and multi-disciplinary plans of care.
  • Respond immediately and appropriately to emergency situations to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
  • Current licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
