Job Summary

Improved Piping Products, Inc. (IPP) is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting finished and unfinished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect finished and unfinished products for visual and dimensional defects
  • Audit various stages of production to ensure machines are producing within specified standards
  • Remove defective products from production and document reasons for removal
  • Report defects to production and quality managers
  • Submit digital reports for inspections
  • Release accepted products for transfer to distribution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the quality department

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience performing quality control inspection
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Manufacturing experience and ability to perform basic mathematics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
