Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on both internal and customer vehicles.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Communicate effectively regarding automotive repairs and concerns.
- Test the functionality of various parts and systems.
- Perform routine auto care tasks, including oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations.
- Repair and replace components such as brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings, and sensors.
- Engage in general mechanic work and routine maintenance on vehicles.
- Be prepared to pursue additional certifications as necessary.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn through hands-on training.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair shop environment.
- Present a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive and engine repair or completion of auto mechanic training is required.
- ASE certifications are preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
- Capable of performing routine maintenance in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
