Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Salesperson to work in our solar showroom. This full-time position will be responsible for driving sales, educating customers about solar energy options, and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement
- Greet customers and engage with them to understand their solar energy needs.
- Sales and Consultations
- Educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and our products.
- Conduct consultations to assess customer requirements and present tailored solar solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, including quotes and financing options.
- Showroom Operations
- Manage showroom operations, including inventory management and maintaining a clean and inviting space.
- Customer Relationships
- Follow up with leads and maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
- Performance Metrics
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Solar Maintenance Pros Inc team to ensure seamless installation and customer service.
- Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate value to customers.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or a related field.
- Experience in the solar industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
