Lakewood Health System is seeking a skilled Retail Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our retail pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring excellent patient experiences and providing high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately dispense medication orders in accordance with Federal, DEA, and Minnesota Board of Pharmacy Rules and Statutes.
- Prepare and dispense medications, including compounded medications, safely and accurately using appropriate techniques.
- Maintain records required by law for controlled substances.
- Monitor patient medication therapies for contraindications, interactions, and appropriateness of drug and dose.
- Provide accurate and timely drug information to professional staff, patients, and their families.
- Contribute to the quality and effective operation of the department by supervising and directing support personnel.
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Currently licensed by the State of Minnesota.
- Ability to calibrate precise instruments.
