Position Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, providing skilled nursing care and administering medications under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Deliver direct nursing care and assist in patient management as directed by a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician.
  • Perform thorough patient assessments, considering various factors such as age, condition severity, and educational needs.
  • Document patient data meticulously, including observations and treatment responses, adhering to hospital guidelines.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively, using appropriate medical equipment.
  • Monitor and report significant changes in patient conditions, contributing to ongoing care adjustments.
  • Uphold safety standards and adhere to infection control procedures, ensuring a safe environment for all.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Experience in clinical patient care, preferably in an acute care setting.
