Job Details

LifeWorks ACS Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support our team in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing treatment plans for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, including individual and group activities, as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and equipment.
  • Monitor and document client progress and report findings to the supervising SLP.
  • Assist with screenings and evaluations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support client needs and goals.
  • Participate in team meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (if applicable).
  • Experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and documentation practices.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
