Blow Mold Production Technician Job Summary

The Blow Mold Production Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position involves monitoring automated production equipment, maintaining a supply of production materials, inspecting parts, operating a forklift, and performing various other tasks with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machinery in accordance with specifications and quality control procedures.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Understand the processing aspects of equipment, perform quality checks, and report any defects to shift leadership and quality assurance.
  • Perform bottle testing procedures and enter data into the SPC collection center.
  • Maintain logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Interest in Continuous Improvement and ability to thrive in a self-directed environment.
