We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
- Carry out tasks that require physical effort, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed.
- Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
- Parts inventory and requisition experience.
- Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience.
