Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pavement Tech Crew Lead to join our team at EverLine Coatings - East Phoenix / Scottsdale. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing crews tasked with various pavement maintenance services, including crack-filling, sealcoating, line striping, and pothole repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate a truck with a trailer on a hitch, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of equipment and personnel.
  • Organize and lead crews to complete daily tasks in a timely and safe manner, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on safety, operations, and job-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with our General Manager, crew members, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, and sealcoating, among other pavement maintenance services, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring a safe and healthy workspace for all team members.
  • Assist with operations across the company, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling crews and coordinating project logistics to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Utilize software to organize team schedules and complete job assignments, ensuring accurate and timely project completion.
  • Plan and facilitate the production of high-quality projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and company standards.
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free job site, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or a related field, with a strong background in pavement maintenance services.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
  • A valid Arizona driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation, with the ability to work in a physically demanding role with frequent walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs).
  • Familiarity with small engines, such as lawnmowers or paint sprayers, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Able to read and understand work orders, with the ability to back up trailers into tight spaces.
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Punctual, organized, and results-driven, with the ability to work well independently and unsupervised.
  • Nice to have: Bilingual Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
