About the Team & Role:
The Global Business Solutions (advertising) team at TikTok is pivotal in driving revenue through the promotion of our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, and executing effective ad campaigns.
As TikTok's community expands rapidly across the globe, our GBS team spearheads innovative projects that are reshaping the advertising landscape in real-time.
The Ad Operations team is crucial for ensuring seamless execution of ad campaigns, optimizing experiences for both users and brand partners.
This team provides technical and operational expertise to support our sales, planning, clients, and product teams, ensuring we deliver top-tier platform capabilities for brands of all sizes.
We seek an Ad Operations Specialist ready to engage in a diverse array of technical responsibilities, from cross-functional coordination to managing campaign logistics and overseeing the campaign reservation process.
A proactive mindset and technical problem-solving skills are essential, along with a collaborative spirit to support our evolving advertising platform.TikTok currently implements a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setup process, campaign management, and reporting for both reservation and auction managed service campaigns.
- Monitor the delivery of managed service campaigns to ensure they reach the intended audience, operate smoothly, and surpass brand expectations; this involves collaborating with teams on creative approvals, troubleshooting issues, managing report requests, and escalating concerns to relevant teams.
- Advise clients on effective campaign setup, including tagging, targeting, and utilizing mobile app and pixel tracking technologies to achieve client KPIs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Client Solutions in technical communications with clients.
- Diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical platform issues in collaboration with Product and Engineering support teams.
- Assist clients with TikTok Pixel and mobile measurement partner (MMP) implementation, evaluating setups prior to campaign launches.
- Develop, organize, and distribute technical and operational product documentation to support Product, Strategy, and Operations (PSO) in navigating the ad platform and its features.
- Participate in training sessions that prepare internal teams for new products and updates within our advertising platform.
- Collaborate with Sales, Client Solutions, and PSO to gather customer feedback and identify areas for product and service enhancement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in an Ad Operations role or technical client service.
- Familiarity with self-serve and auction-based advertising platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing branding and performance-based advertisers, with a deep understanding of their challenges.
- Proven track record in assisting clients with custom campaigns focused on specific performance KPIs.
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently through the appropriate escalation channels.
- Competence in identifying insights and analyzing data to evaluate campaign performance.
- Familiarity with ad verification, viewability, and impression tracking partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
