Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Turner Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, setting up, adjusting, lubricating, maintaining, and repairing all types of construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal orders to assign duties and ensure production of the unit
- Inspect work to ensure adherence to company standards and train and assist workers in performance of their duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned construction workers and implement safety programs
- Ensure job site materials and equipment are in good condition and maintain time, production, and other records
- One to four years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)
- Written pre-employment qualification test
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Hazard Communication orientation/test
- Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
The successful candidate will work in an industrial construction site, equipment yard, and/or fabrication shop environment. The job requires mobility and may involve uneven ground level, obstructed pathways, work performed at low and/or high elevations, and work performed in confined areas.
The candidate will be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, and various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.
