About the Role:

As a Claims Recovery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing subrogation claims across various business lines and jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include processing payment checks in line with company guidelines, coordinating with collection agencies, and supporting the Claims Recovery Team to uphold industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned inventory of subrogation files with a focus on recovery.
  • Maintain a monthly diary to ensure timely follow-ups and payments.
  • Input recoveries into claims systems to ensure accurate application of recovery funds.
  • Collaborate with collection agencies to recover funds from at-fault parties.
  • Utilize technology and resources to conduct thorough investigations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
  • Approve and process bills as necessary.
  • Prepare various status reports for clients.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years in a general office setting or a combination of education and experience is necessary. Experience in the claims industry is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Capability to meet service expectations and performance competencies.
