Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois. GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition products, including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, and general health products. These products are sold through a variety of channels, including specialty retail, the internet, and gyms in a variety of formats, including powders, bars, and Ready-to-Drink beverages.

Key Responsibilities:- Assist with risk analysis for materials and type of processing.
- Collect, document, review, and transfer test results from external sources to internal documentation.
- Perform data collection, trend quality metrics, and communicate results.
- Draft, implement, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in OOS (Out of Specification) investigations and reporting.
- Daily logging of incoming raw materials into a database.
- Sample preparation for third-party lab testing and ensuring the safe storage of raw materials and chemicals.
- Assist chemist in preparation of lab glassware prior to analysis and ensuring the safe storage of chemical materials.
- Current junior pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
- Clear written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to follow through on tasks with minimum direction.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
