Description:
At The Community Group, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
- Develop and implement individualized counseling plans to address students' social-emotional and behavioral needs.
- Evaluate and assess students' cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
- Develop and implement behavior management plans to support students' social-emotional and behavioral development.
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and other professionals on topics such as behavior management, social-emotional learning, and assessment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education School Psychologist License.
- Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
