Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Spring Harbor Hospital, a leading psychiatric treatment and recovery center in Southern Maine. As a Therapeutic Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with acute mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily living skills and follow treatment plans to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative therapeutic interventions and facilitate engaging community groups.
• Accompany patients on transports, providing emotional support and stability during transitions.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred.
• No specific licenses or certifications required at this time.
• Previous experience in mental health or a related field is not necessary, but a passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional care is essential.
