Position Summary:CGH is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing engineering design and oversight for projects implemented at the local level, collaborating with airport sponsors and FAA representatives to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engineering support for locally implemented projects and Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation (BIL) initiatives.
- Conduct site surveys and develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) and Design Plans.
- Create Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and prepare Project Risk Plans (PRP).
- Facilitate Operational Risk Management (ORM) activities and coordinate implementation efforts.
- Oversee construction activities and provide quality assurance for reimbursable projects.
- Review documentation and designs from airport sponsors and consultants.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and coordinate with local Airport District Offices.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 4-7 years of engineering experience, preferably in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
This position may require occasional travel and the ability to meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance. CGH offers a competitive salary range based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement plans.
