QCELLS Enable serves as the EPC division of Qcells, focusing on the Commercial, Industrial, Distributed Generation, and Small Utility Scale solar sectors. As a prominent module manufacturer, we provide comprehensive solutions tailored for project developers and asset managers. Role Summary
The newly established HR Operations Leader position is a crucial role that leverages extensive people management experience to enhance the quality of our HR processes. This individual will execute and oversee optimal HR practices to ensure a positive employee experience across Enable's diverse workforce.
This role collaborates closely with Enable HR leadership and the GES HR Shared Services team. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, managing benefits programs, and overseeing audits of HR initiatives.
This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and is based in Teaneck, NJ, with a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage collaboratively with HR, management, and leadership to influence employee development, policies, programs, and services.
- Support and guide the HR team in conducting new employee orientations to promote a positive company culture.
- Lead benefits strategy initiatives, monitoring programs such as health, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plans and leave policies.
- Maintain accurate records of benefits participation and personnel transactions for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Oversee the annual benefits renewal process in partnership with benefit carriers.
- Manage worker's compensation processes, including annual renewals and audits.
- Develop and implement new policies and procedures as needed.
- Address inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and HR programs.
- Communicate important HR updates and reminders to employees.
- Stay informed about employment laws and best practices, regularly updating management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the Construction or Engineering sectors is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to research and present best practices to the team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis and presentation using tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-motivated team player.
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing and movement throughout the workday.
- Ability to operate equipment and navigate various environments.
- Regular lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
