Job Overview

AlohaHP is a popular restaurant located in the heart of Waikiki. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all who visit us.

This role involves being the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests with a welcoming demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and cared for throughout their meal.
  • Manage reservations and seating efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of guests.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and address inquiries about our menu, hours, and specials in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized host station and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely table turnover and exceptional guest service, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Assist with special requests or guest needs to provide an added touch to their dining experience.
Requirements:
  • Prior customer-facing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • You should be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is necessary.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented approach are vital qualities we look for in candidates.
