Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Chassis Repair Technician to join our team under the guidance of the Shop Manager.

This role is responsible for the accurate completion of all assigned tasks and must maintain thorough documentation of work using a computer-based work planner system. Adherence to all company policies is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks (Tig & Mig on Aluminum, Carbon, and Stainless Steel)
- Conduct 90 Day Inspections
- Inspect and repair brake systems
- Execute FHWA Inspections
- Be available for on-call repairs
- Travel locally for repair assignments
- Collaborate with other departments for repair coordination
- Prepare cost estimates for chassis repairs for clients
- Manage and monitor inventory systems
- Address customer inquiries and concerns
- Process orders and assess customer requirements
- Communicate inventory status to customers and manage shipments
- Follow safety and environmental regulations as per current policies.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous chassis repair experience is required.
- High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Position involves frequent standing, bending, and walking.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Possession of basic tools is essential.
- Willingness to work in an open-air workshop.
- FHWA inspection certification is required.
- Welding experience (Tig & Mig on Aluminum, Carbon, and Stainless Steel) is necessary.
