Aveanna Healthcare - Private Duty Nurse RN-Part Time Days

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse RN-Part Time Days. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna policies
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
