Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and providing continuous care to remain at home with their loved ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and family members
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
