Job Summary

The Medication Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with prescribed medications and treatments. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with administering medications and treatments as defined by state regulations
  • Act as a Resident Caregiver, providing support with daily living activities, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping
  • Maintain accurate work records and communicate effectively with the Nurse Supervisor and other healthcare team members
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and respectful living environment
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; knowledge and experience working with elderly populations preferred
  • Basic reading and writing skills, with ability to speak English
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds unassisted
  • Must be certified, as required, by state regulations
