The Role

This Senior Financial Analyst position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A at Twitch. As part of our Corporate FP&A team, you will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Amazon Corp teams to address key financial challenges impacting Twitch's metrics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting forecast consolidation processes, delivering management reporting, and leveraging planning systems for data-driven decision making.
  • Designing new processes, enhancing existing reports, and building models to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Monthly Business Review (MBR) Reporting: Prepare comprehensive MBR packages, including Consolidated P&L and variance commentary by business unit, using TM1 and collaborating with stakeholders.
  2. Annual and Quarterly Operating Plan: Contribute to the overall planning process, including scenario planning, target setting, and calendar management. Guide the FP&A team through submissions and prepare review materials for executives.
  3. Financial Input Templates: Take a lead role in developing, standardizing, and improving financial input templates to ensure accuracy and accelerate forecast cycle times.
  4. Advanced Reporting and Analytics: Manage dashboards providing relevant insights into business levers, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  5. Forecast Coordination: Coordinate inputs from multiple teams, overseeing finance system and spreadsheet-based data gathering, and aligning key assumptions and drivers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, preferably with experience in Corporate FP&A at a public company.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning systems (e.g., Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion, or SAP).
  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent attention-to-detail, written, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Quicksights, PowerBI, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience with finance systems implementation (Cognos TM1, Oracle OFA, SAP, Anaplan, etc.).
  • Background in corporate consolidations functions.
