About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Security Associate to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, owners, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular and random inspections of the building and grounds to identify potential security risks and prevent theft, vandalism, fire, and accidents.
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and records, and advise management of any deficiencies or remedial efforts.
  • Investigate security incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Provide exceptional guest/owner service, including answering inquiries, directing traffic, and providing directions.
  • Patrol the interior and perimeter of the resort to identify potential security and safety risks.
  • Administer basic first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Operate and monitor security equipment, including radios, AEDs, and keycard systems.
  • Conduct key and safe assists as assigned, and act as a witness to cash drops.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6+ months of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
  • Active state of Hawaii Security Guard Card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to adjust to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to cover shifts on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior hotel/hospitality experience.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
  • Proficient in the English language to communicate verbally and in writing.
