Loss Prevention Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Ka'anapali. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to ensure prompt response to emergencies
- Assist guests with room access and provide exceptional customer service
- Respond to accidents, contact emergency services as needed, and administer first aid/CPR
- Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report any safety concerns to management
- Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and crowd control
- Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related documents
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior work experience necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move quickly in emergency situations
- Related work experience in security or a related field
- Supervisory experience
- License or certification in security or a related field
