Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator plays a crucial role in organizing and coordinating patient care assignments in the Respiratory Department. This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a strong understanding of respiratory principles and procedures. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate patient care assignments in the Respiratory Department
  • Implement and coordinate respiratory care for patients based on cardiopulmonary assessment
  • Participate in interviewing, monitoring, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining processes
  • Support the mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives of Swedish Medical Center
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist required
  • NBRC-RRT credential required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA or ARC required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required
  • Neonatal Pediatric Specialist preferred; Adult Critical Care Specialist preferred
  • Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist program
  • 3 years Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
