The OpportunityWe're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Health and Safety program, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program, maintaining metrics on compliance, and serving as a subject matter expert on OSHA regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a robust Health and Safety program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as primary contact for regulatory interactions, providing expert advice and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive risk assessments, hazardous waste management, and safety training.
- Conduct regular restaurant visits to verify policy implementation and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead our EHS Committee, fostering a culture of safety awareness and collaboration.
- Analyze data to identify safety trends, informing corrective actions and process improvements.
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in Health and Safety management. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety management, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry.
- OSHA 30 Hour Course certification.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
