About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with our clients and project managers to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal, and other requirements.
  • Site Management: Coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production, ensuring that all activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Scheduling and Reporting: Prepare and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule for all activities on the job site, submit to Project Manager and/or Prime contractor weekly, and maintain daily reports to submit to Project Manager and/or Prime contractor daily.
  • Quality Control: Manage quality control by confirming that all equipment and material installed is what was submitted by subcontractor.
  • Health and Safety: Facilitate company safety program, including job site safety inspections and weekly safety meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant construction experience.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of skilled trades, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills with various parties, including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
