Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of beverages, maintaining the highest quality and consistent customer service.
  • Manage bar inventory, budgets, licenses, and resources to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Train and develop new bar staff, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Work with liquor vendors to develop new products and promotions, creating a unique and exciting bar experience.
  • Negotiate with vendors, update contracts, and order supplies to maintain efficient operations.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire bar staff in conjunction with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Report directly to the General Manager, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Comply with all food and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform tastings and ordering of products, handling transactions with professionalism.
  • Work with management to understand the budget and inventory record-keeping, ensuring the bar remains profitable.
  • Assist with special events, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards, maintaining a professional image at all times.
  • Report safety hazards and employee accidents to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Maintain service areas and delegate side work duties to ensure overall productivity.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a bartender, with a strong background in bar management.
  • TIPS certification and a working knowledge of safe food handling practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical demands include regular lifting of 50lbs or more, standing for long periods, and ability to adjust focus.
Benefits and Pay

This position starts at $55,000 - $60,000, based on experience. Benefits are offered to all full-time employees after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, and a free life insurance policy.
