Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient IT Systems Engineering Lead to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in managing the architecture, deployment, and upkeep of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) frameworks while ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the architecture and management of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring effective integration and deployment of software across multiple environments.
- Establish and uphold best practices for Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC), ensuring alignment with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and implement automation strategies, optimizing the software development lifecycle.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of applications and systems, including during off-hours as necessary.
- Provide mentorship and technical direction to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends related to CI/CD and S-SDLC compliance, proposing innovative solutions to refine our development processes.
- Work with stakeholders to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for CI/CD and S-SDLC compliance, delivering regular updates on progress.
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding development teams on best practices, tools, and methodologies related to CI/CD and S-SDLC.
- Ensure the integration of security measures within CI/CD pipelines, guaranteeing the delivery of secure and reliable software solutions.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of S-SDLC best practices, including secure coding and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps, with a proven track record of driving their implementation.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of pipeline security and code quality tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for resolving complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
