Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and effective service.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and maintaining accurate patient information.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and services.
  • Quality and Safety: Contribute to a culture of quality and safety, adhering to established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Medical Assistant program certification or registry.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting, with a strong understanding of clinical and administrative procedures.
  • Certification: Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
