Job Summary:

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital, offers a unique opportunity for a Nurse Technician to join our team. As a Nurse Technician, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. This role requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

Assist the nurse with patient and family education
Document all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology
Act as a 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary
Ensure availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs
Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team
Collect clinical data and information on patients and report abnormal findings to the nurse
Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures

Requirements:

Enrolled in an accredited RN program
No experience required
Preferred: enrolled in an accredited BSN program
