Nurse Technician

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. This role requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient and family education, documenting all patient care activities with correct medical terminology.
- Act as a 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary, ensuring availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
- Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team, collecting clinical data and information on patients and reporting abnormal findings to the nurse.
- Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited RN program.
- No experience required.
