Job Summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos LLC is seeking a Facility Operations and Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner, while maintaining required safety, security, and operational training.

You will work closely with our operations, maintenance, and project management teams to provide day-to-day engineering support. Your expertise will be crucial in providing solutions to complex technical problems, coordinating completion of milestones, and preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for design packages.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner.
  • Maintain required safety, security, and operational training.
  • Assure procedural and regulatory compliance.
  • Make safety, security, and quality an integral part of every task.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or other engineering discipline from an ABET university.
  • Five (5) years in responsible charge of mechanical engineering experience and relative experience.
  • At least 2 years of nuclear experience preferred, but not required.
