Account Executive Job Description

US Signal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the assigned territory for all US Signal business market segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and qualify opportunities with US Signal sales teams and new prospects through your own networks and relationships.
  • Recruit, develop, and train an agent base, including Value Added Resellers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established sales quota.
  • Function as the expert in Cloud Services technology and lead US Signal account teams and prospects in understanding how this technology can be leveraged to augment their data center/IT strategy.
  • Effectively qualify opportunities to ensure greatest return on time and resource investment across territory.
  • Develop key relationships with clients at an executive level to advance the sale or to further develop the revenue stream associated with that account.
  • Work with Product Development to understand upcoming enhancements to be able to train customers and account teams.
  • Participate in community and industry-related events to further develop opportunities to procure new business.
  • Provide various levels of reports for top opportunities, weekly progress reports, accurate monthly forecasts, branch updates, account review documentation, and updates.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling complex IT infrastructure solutions to medium and enterprise businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in applying consultative selling techniques to opportunities.
  • Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • High energy and drive.
  • Demonstrated success in selling one or more of the following: Managed Hosting, Managed Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Collocation, Cloud Services, Managed Network Solutions, Contact Center Services, IP Consulting.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position operates in a variety of environments. A portion of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Required License(s)/Certification(s): Valid, active driver's license with a good driving record as defined by the Company's current insurance providers.
