Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at PSCI. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to resolve issues and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Analyze and evaluate products and related performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other sustainment engineers to troubleshoot and repair assets, utilizing data, wiring diagrams, test equipment, and software programs.
  • Perform depot-level repairs, rework, modifications, and refurbishments of specific components of the system.
  • Operate general-purpose test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers, and waveform generators, and use basic AC/DC theory to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 5-8 years of relative experience.
  • Solder certification (J-STD-001) to repair cables and harnesses.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and fault isolation of components using general-purpose and/or automated test equipment.
  • Knowledge of the operation of general-purpose and/or automated test equipment.
  • Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications, and industry processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds and work with hazardous materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721.
