Job Summary:

As a skilled Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Your expertise will be utilized to construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. You will work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in a prescribed format. Additionally, you will perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed, and prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and maintain electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs

• Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Conduct tests and report data in a prescribed format

• Perform calibration and alignment checks and make adjustments as directed

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in fabrication environments, including cable and harness

• At least 5 years of SMT board fabrication or maintenance of military design product experience

• At least 5 years of soldering experience

• Prior certification in solder and harness

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to fabricate electrical test equipment designs from blueprints

• Ability to read schematic, bill of material, and engineering practices manual as guidelines

• Ability to communicate issues with design and process requirements to management and design engineers
